Mic Melters

There was a poetry event this evening. The Mic Melters 2nd annual event at this was a blow out of an event. It was down in Pittsburgh (cant remember the name of the place right now but Ill get that up soon too). But this was a real nice event. They group or castrating it ran this LEARING TO UNLERN campaign that had good promise behind it and I support yall to the fullest. Keep it up.
But any way this event was a smash. I drove down to tha Burgh from Erie (Pa) just to hit this spot up. And it was jam packed with talent. This was a competition for the poet of the evening and the prise was $500 now I didn't win. I didn't even make it to the second round but just being there and feeling the atmosphere was something special.
Now the female whom won the whole get down, is a woman by the name of Crystal Lee. Now I had seen her perform before up in Edinboro Pa, at Edinboro University. A campus that I frequented due to its close proximity to Gannon U. (the school I went to at the time) and its frequent poetry events.
Now she tore it up, up there and she did not disappoint this time either. This mama go skill cuz. Big ups to you. I know we'll meet again.
But yea Ill have the photos up and everything from that event soon. I seem to have issues when it comes to technology but that is soon to change to (it starts with a thought) so yea a very nice event.
I will also have a video of the event linked through my YouTube but I have to get the video first. I know a long process. But yes a wonderful evening.
